NHS COVID-19 & Flu Vaccination Service
Book your COVID-19 vaccination, with the option to receive your flu vaccine at the same appointment.
This appointment is for an NHS-funded COVID-19 vaccination at Health Centre Pharmacy. If you would also like a flu vaccination, we can offer this at the same visit, provided you are eligible and the vaccine is suitable for you.

Who is eligible for a COVID-19 vaccination?
Our pharmacy service is for adults aged 18 and over who meet the current campaign criteria.
The autumn 2026 COVID-19 vaccination programme includes:

Adults aged 75 and over.

Residents in care homes for older adults.

People with a weakened immune system due to a qualifying medical condition or treatment, as defined in the national vaccination guidance.
If you are approaching your 75th birthday, or are unsure whether your condition or treatment qualifies, please contact the pharmacy before booking.
Eligibility for flu and COVID-19 vaccinations is different. Being eligible for a free flu vaccination does not automatically mean you qualify for an NHS COVID-19 vaccination.
Would you like your flu vaccine too?
If you are eligible for both vaccines, you can choose to have them at the same appointment. They are given as two separate injections.
Please let our team know that you would like both vaccinations. Our pharmacist will check your eligibility and suitability for each vaccine.
You can also choose to receive only your COVID-19 vaccination.

Before you book
Please contact our pharmacist before booking if you:

Have previously had a severe allergic reaction to a vaccine or have a known allergy to a vaccine ingredient.

Have previously been advised to seek medical advice before receiving another COVID-19 vaccination.

Are unsure whether you are eligible or whether enough time has passed since your last COVID-19 vaccination.
Please tell us when you last received a COVID-19 vaccine and whether you have already had a flu vaccination for the 2026/27 season.
If you feel unwell
Please rearrange your appointment if you have a high temperature or feel significantly unwell.
If you have symptoms of flu or COVID-19, contact the pharmacy before attending so we can advise you.
On the day

Arrive five minutes early and check in with a member of staff.

Bring photographic ID, such as a passport or driving licence. If you do not have photo ID, contact us before your appointment.

Bring any vaccination invitation or relevant specialist letter you have received.

Wear clothing that gives easy access to your upper arms, such as a short-sleeved top.

Follow the pharmacist’s advice about how long to stay after vaccination.
