Free flu vaccinations for eligible adults aged 18 and over — winter 2026/27.

Who is eligible?
Our pharmacy service is available to adults aged 18 or over who meet at least one of the following criteria:

Aged 65 or over, including anyone turning 65 by 31 March 2027.

Aged 18–64 with an eligible medical condition or a weakened immune system.

Pregnant, at any stage of pregnancy.

Living in a residential or nursing home.

A carer.
-
A close contact of someone with a weakened immune system, including household contacts.

A health or social care worker, including care-home, hospice and domiciliary care staff.

Sleeping rough or using a homeless hostel.

An eligible animal worker, including people working in or regularly visiting poultry, pig or cattle units or processing units. Please contact us to check whether your role qualifies.

Before you book
Please contact our pharmacist before booking if you have previously had a severe allergic reaction to a vaccine, or have a known allergy to a vaccine ingredient, including egg.
An allergy does not necessarily mean you cannot be vaccinated. Our pharmacist will assess whether the vaccine we offer is suitable for you.
Please also let us know if you have already received a flu vaccination for the 2026/27 season.
If you feel unwell
Please rearrange your appointment if you have a high temperature or feel significantly unwell.
If you have symptoms of flu or COVID-19, contact the pharmacy before attending so we can advise you.
On the day

Arrive five minutes early and check in with a member of staff.

Bring photographic ID, such as a passport or driving licence. If you do not have photo ID, contact us before your appointment.

Health and social care workers: bring proof of employment, such as a staff ID badge, payslip or employer letter.

Wear clothing that gives easy access to your upper arm, such as a short-sleeved top.

Follow the pharmacist’s advice about how long to stay after vaccination.
